The NewYork Steakhouse kill

What a great weekend. What a range of emotions. Started of with the chin-on-hands for a long time over the thought of turning 30. Was a very yucky feeling. Was.
But then, friends.
Ya,my dear friends made my weekend. And The New York Steakhouse.
I swear I could slap myself with all the bad steaks I had till now because I almost stopped believing in steaks. But NewYork S was love at first bite.
The decor elegant,  the choices limited but obviously care was in details rather than bewildering but bad choices and unique desserts.
And with a new vow (my bday is like my new year so I take resolutions) of trying new food in any menu, I dared on Ristretto! Ofcourse, the sensible 30 year old 'Jane' in me told me to google it and I stealthily did. All this while the waitress was standing near me. If she saw, I hope she was melted by my successive smiles and thought I was cute. Ha!
So Ristretto is like,  a very small shot of Espresso. Like the tequila shot of coffee. And its strong but likeable. I'm kicked in more ways than one.
So what killed me?
The cookie icecream. Delicious crumbly inside with molten chocolate lava and vanilla icecream outside.
I am in heaven.
