Mallus are everywhere. Duh! Like everyone doesnt know. When aliens come they may not understand English but hey will definitely understand Malayalam.
No ,I also did not mean bakery shops in all streets of Bangalore and 'othentic' 'shewerma' shops in Chennai.
I mean mallus are actually in the limelight. Business, cinema and food not withstanding, they have taken over Fashion too! And how brilliantly.
Look at the below. Such a dangerous slit can only be found in a coconut smashed hard by a hungry mallu labourer.
But its by the talented and new wave Nikhil Thampi. I like how he and the others are not treading cautiously as one would assume them to be ( coming from a conservative land ) but its how fantastically he has weaved in the traditional motifs of Kerala into fashion or others have created a different identity into fashion concepts.
