Chinua Achebe - 321 / 365 of reading one short story every day.

An important voice for Nigeria as well for the Black movement, author , novelist and poet Chinua Achebe, through his writings showed the ancient culture of Africa as well as their transition to the modern world. Influenced and pulled into the world of storytelling and fantasy, due to his mother's traditional Igbo stories, these narratives can be seen in his writings.


Dead Men's Path


Dead Men's Path is a short story by Achebe and was first published in 1953. The story shows the motive of modernity as opposed to ancestral beliefs.
