Mornings!!
Mornings really perk me up !! Woohoooo!!
The sheer rays of sun pouring in the room,on my bed,to my eyes ,touch my lips and I can't help falling in love with mornings again and again..or more aptly ,every morning. I have stopped waiting for just weekend mornings or the stereotypical 'Sunday' mornings. Pause from the weekly grind and and you shall enjoy even the Monday morning hue of blue! Toasted bread, steaming cup of hazelnut coffee, paper at the door and rushing to catch the officebus...temme which is favourite part about mornings?
And what is the recipe to enjoy even a moronic Tuesday morning?
Ofcourse you need to have an open room with atleast one window. If your bed's beside it,great!
Hang light coloured curtains.
Sleep by 12 or else drink a glass of milk before you sleep.
Sleep facing the window.
Keep no alarms. Well if you are a nocturnal owl party person, then keep all alarms you can!!
And when you do wake up just after sunrise, pause and sit on your bed for sometime. Even if your window faces the other building and all you see everyday is the sleepy lanky guy next door in his boxers, just look up at the blue sky, wink back at the ray of sun and breathe in the air. Smile to yourself and shoot a thanks to God. Do not waste the most beautiful moments of the day. After all, spreadsheets and word docs are not pretty no matter how much you colourcode them!!
P.S- To people who really have vowed to be OWLS ..tell us about the beauty of nights !!
Not sure how the recipe will work for married people ;)
