So you are going to do Yoga today as part of your daily workout? Good. Did you check out cardio yesterday? No?... So weight lifting? .. surprised?
Why are we hiding behind yoga? I love yoga. But depicting it as the only 'easy and achievable' workout mode is like dressing up and going to Baskin Robbins and just having vanilla. Everytime. There are so many options to choose from and so many ways to excite your muscles and know your endurance.
Many friends I know do yoga because :
a) it's noiseless
b) feminine (cannot imagine being caught doing clean and press by their mother-in-law)
c) it's calming (HIIT is scary)
d) on moody days cannot think of doing burpees
e) their favourite magazine says 'better sex through yoga' Ahem!
f) they can hear their kids without Insanity screaming around them
So yoga is an excuse basically?
