Resonate

The room resonates with the sounds of the toddler. My son.

Some years ago between studying, working and living a single life with my friends in the hostel, the only sounds were of harsh loud music, the brushing of pizza boxes against our laptops and chatter about boyfriends and box office.

We thought we will never get out of that and life would be drowned in those noises. But time moves things, if not, then you.

Today as much as I miss pizza boxes, peeling movie posters and the certain peaceful reading time, I like how uncertainly he wraps his chocolate fingers around my face, how the different nursery rhymes on Youtube make me live my childhood all over again and how amidst it all, life resonates with the sounds of unadulterated glee.
