From the Pigeon to the Phone

We have come a long way in our mode of communications. Earlier a pigeon used to send our ancestors' messages to and fro. Today we have all the control and speed in a small box fitting in our palms.

We cannot debate the pros and cons of which mode is better because every era has its own ways and pace of progression. What may seem slow today also is nostalgic. What is mocked as impersonal is also helpful during an emergency. You may exchange emoticons 364 days a year but on your birthday you would appreciate a handwritten card more, won't you?

Whichever mode you choose, fast or slow, the missive of the story is, be in touch.
