Stories from the Kitchen

Currently reading Stories from the Kitchen.

Imagine going for a tea just so that you can fall in love with a lady as per your plan. Or how does a mother feel when she cooks and plans delicious meals for her visiting daughter but she announces her sudden marriage and of leaving the country? There's also a subtly humorous tale of a religious Jewish couple who are all about an elaborate Sabbath meal, before and after death.

A delightful collection of stories indirectly connected to food, eating out, people getting together for a drink and the drama that unfolds at such times.

 Funny, colourful and interesting.
