I did not go back to school. Neither did I start wearing bell bottoms. I started reading books again and Im so happy. I tried coining a word for this feeling which is in between a good milk chocolate and really well grilled salmon (oh wait!that's a weird combo),but you got it raaighittt?!
It started of with Playing for Pizza by Grisham. Then when I realized Twitter can spare me from overtime (Facebook is on hold till they behave themselves), I started reading. And while page after page after page (sounds like Sunny Deol saying taarik pe taarik) kept turning I kept going to worlds imagined and roads untraveled. I went in sync with the quarterback who enjoyed wine with cheese in Italy (re. Playing for Pizza), then had a crush on Dylan Singh Shekhawat (re. Those Pricey Thakur Girls by Anuja Chauhan) and finally lust took over to Flipkart who, because of some telepathy, brought offers pe offers pe offers (see Deol again) and now they are richer by some ruppees and me by some good ol' books.
Now Reading The Argumentative Indian by Amartya Sen.
By the way when I'm old I want to have a room in my home like this below. Old wrld charm plus some ol' books.
